What does "spill your seed" in the Bible mean?
Well, there is a story in the Old Testament about a man named Onan who was to produce offspring for his late brother, Er. Onan married Er's widow Tamar to fulfill this duty, but Onan realized that the child was not gonna be HIS heir and was angry about that factor, so you know what he did? He used Tamar as just a sex object and it prevented her from having a child, the act broke God's heart and God stoned Onan. To spill your seed would simply mean to ditch God's command to provide an heir.
